I have checked the burial registers for you and found the following information:

CATHAYS CEMETERY Section: S Grave No: 2884

*Emily Alice Williams, aged 6 months old and the child of William Henry & Ada Williams, was interred on 18 Apr 1901.
*Ada Williams, aged 28 years old and the wife of William Henry Williams, was interred on 3 Sep 1904.
*William Henry Williams, aged 36 years old, was interred on 24 Aug 1910.

So the information you have was correct and they are all buried in the same grave.

I have attached maps of the grave which will help the person taking the pictures. The records do not state whether there is a stone on this grave. If they have difficulty finding it, please tell them they can meet the Cemetery Manager by appointment. Please telephone 02920 544820 a few days before they are due to visit and he can see check his burial bookings and make a suitable date and time.

Maps - https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0...

Hi Denise,
I'm not surprised that you were unable to find the monument as it has fallen into disrepair and looks nothing like the picture. I have heard from another contact who found it and sent me photos. Another family member and I are going to see if we can get enough interest from other descendants to have it restored. Thank you for looking, though.

Update: Rev. Chris at St Peter's discovered an index of monumental inscriptions and gravestones and found that John and Eleanor were indeed buried together with their daughter Margaret and son David. He took photos too.
John died 28/1/1879; Eleanor died 11/12/1878, David died 17/4/1857 and Margaret died 7/2/1834.
If anyone else is researching our family, please get in touch.
Thanks,
Richard

John & Eleanor JONES buried at St Peter's, Lampeter

My great great grandfather John Jones and his son William were shoemakers in Lampeter, employing as many as 30 men around 1850 to 1880. William ran the Cambria Shoe Factory for a while.
We think John married Eleanor (Elinor) and they might be buried at St Peter's in Lampeter. It seems there are records that fit the couple, but I don't know if they were buried together or side by side.
John Jones, male, husband, died 1879 aged 71
Eleanor Jones, female, wife, died 1978 aged 72
Could somebody take a look please. If successful, a photograph or two would be great.
Thank you so much.
Richard PJ

There was also 16 Parr's in
Trealaw, but they may not be related if as you said your family is in Tonyrefail.
Anyone out there who could take a photo for me of my Great grandfathers grave? Captain Henry Rees is buried in Danygraig. He was born in 1856 and died in 1899. He was married to Mary Anne Davis. I have been told that only sea captains and their families were buried in this cemetery, but not sure if this is true. It would be greatly appreciated as I live in South Australia!
(There children were Thomas Alfred Rees, Polly, Jack, Jim, Joseph and Minnie.) Thanks so much! Rosemarie

Names of cemetaries in this area. Looking for Parry (Perry) Ancestors, Thomas, Ellen and others. I don't have date of birth for Thomas but children born in this parish, 1810-1814 so estimate that Thomas perhaps born about 1780-90.

Hi
My name is Dave and I live in Colwyn Bay. There are several cemeteries in the area but none are searchable directly by web page but if you know who are looking for you can get details from the local records. You could try this site http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ and then have someone i.e. me, look at the local records for you.
I live a couple of miles away so if anyone wants me to try and find one for them please let me know.

I would like the grave number which can be obtained by ringing 029 2062 3294 or emailing:thornhillreception@cardiff.gov.uk
I can then pop over. I don't drive but its easy enough to get to during weekends. Its shut at 5pm in winter so can't get there in the week. I have family buried here so I am popping to put flowers and family who live locally so can visit them at the same time.

Dick Vickery used to lodge with my Grandparents at 115 Aberdyberthi St Hafod Swansea for as long as I can remember & to me he was always uncle Dick although he was no relation. His son Cyril lived at 582 Mumbles Rd
Dick Vickery Died on 13-July-1959 aged 73 yrs
Cyril Vickery Died on 30 April 1968 aged 52 yrs

The grave is in Section U Plot 450. You can locate it by looking at the map in the Cemetery or ask Rob in the Cemetery Office to direct you

If I can find the photo of the marker I will send it to you later
Best Regards Michael Jones

It is on Clasemont Road in Morriston about 3 miles out of the city centre of Swansea but very close to the M4 motorway. It is quite large and has been open since the 1915 for burials and cremations. You will need to have some idea of the grave number unless you have a lot of time to spend. There are thousands of headstones and some are badly worn. You can walk around anytime but they limit vehicular access hours.

I can conform that there was a cemetary in Adamsdown. The Marquis of Bute gave the land to be used as a cemetary in 1848. It became a park in 1948 but the headstones were preserved and now line the inner walls of the park. In recent times it has been revamped as a games area. I am also researching Driscolls in Swansea and Cardiff.

Hello,
I wonder if you can help me?
I have found an ancestors grave in Caersalem baptist chapel, Cilgwyn, Nevern. I have been unable to find other family members from this era in the same place. Her name was Anne Hugh of Fachongle Ganol Nevern, she died in 1848, I know Caersalem was erected in 1841. So my question is where were my ancestors buried pre 1841?
Can you help?
