Hello:

I'm interested in Zion Cemetery. It is adjacent to Mt Zion Church in Pine Level, AL.

The majority of my ancestors are buried there and I was seeking an index of those buried there.

In researching cemeteries in Pine Level, AL, no one has indexed that cemetery.

What is happening to preserve the cemeteries that are adjacent to churches. It is the responsibility of the church to index, preserve and to make those records accessible to the County and/or State?

If anyone lives close and would do a lookup, I would greatly appreciate it.
