Hello. Thank you so much for your offer to look up cemeteries. My father's family came from Mancos, Colorado. The family names include Thornhill, Reid, and Bowman. I am specifically looking for my great grandfather whose name was OLIVER JACKSON BOWMAN. He was born in Kansas (I believe) in approximately 1856 and died in Montezuma Cty., Colorado in or around February of 1939. I have been able to find birth and death records for his wife (Minnie Ann Reid Bowman) and 3 of their 4 children. However, I cannot find any records pertaining to Oliver's death expect a family tree on Ancestry that indicates he died in Mancos in Feb of 1939. His wife and children lived in California at the time and Oliver is listed both in California and Colorado. Apparently he traveled between the 2 states.
