Hope you got your answer, but if not, check the funeral homes. They know who is in charge of which cemetery.

Re: Rose Hill, Taylor, Florida USA

Hope you already have your answer, but if not, my late mother, Elizabeth Durden Gunter contributed to a book on cemeteries of Taylor County surveyed by
Jessie Paulk of Salem,Taylor County, FL[(850)584-4280] There is no Rose Hill listed. However, I vaguely remember reading about Rose Hill being a community and perhaps it is one of the cemeteries that has disappeared over the years, but it could just be bad memory.. Perry's original name was Rose Head; could be a confusion of names. Anyway, there is no Cullin Clark listed in the book. You might want to call him.

Caterville, Fl was an area near Pellicer Creek off of US 1 (SR 204) in the southwestern most part of St Johns County (ST Augustine, FL.) It was founded by George Carter. Not sure about a Carterville cemetary- but there is a Pellicer Creek Cemetary with Carter's buried there.

I am looking for the burial place of Mitchell Augustus Reese. He should be buried in Miami-Dade County. He was born in Aug 1874, in Georgia, and died Oct 1958 in Dade County, Florida. He is probably buried in Dade, because some of his children that died there are buried in Dade. The others are buried in Inverness.
His wife was Alice Jane Devane Reese. She was born Jul 1883, and died Apr 1966 in Dade. I don't know where she's buried, either. I would love to connect with any of their descendants!!

I would really appreciate someone helping me, because I don't want to spend the money for death records that might not give me this information!

All information would be appreciated!!

I am looking to contact the person(s) who now runs the cemetery in Ferndale.....My daddy (Lonnie Reuben Byrd) is buried there with many family members. My mother (Lona Mae Curry Byrd) passed away November 20, 2011 (85). Many years ago she paid $25.00 to be buried along side daddy, she gave my sister (Beverly Ann Byrd Reese) of St. Augustine, Fl to hold the receipt and she has long since lost it and now she too passed away in 2009. So, what do I have to do to bury mother's ashes along by daddy and how much? Thank you, Linda Sue Byrd Crawford (SUSIE).

Thank you.

I would hate for anyone to go out of their way to take pictures there just for me. I was just hoping maybe there were already some photos or a list of Section 3 floating around that I wasnt aware of.

I thought maybe cemeteries kept maps of all headstones for families use. I really am just starting so I had no idea. I guess now thinking on it, it would be hard to keep up a map of that kind with new additions.

I am sorry to hear about your health and I hope things improve for you soon.

Thank you for your reply, and all your hard work.

You are correct in that most of the listings are on the eastern end as that is where I started on taking pictures. Unfortunately my health does not permit me to do much of that any more. I will see if I can get one of my volunteers to take pictures of section 3 headstones for you. In the meantime here is where you can get copies of death certificates:
http://www.doh.state.fl.us/planning_eval/vital_statistics/de...

By the way the cemetery office is usually most helpful in giving grave locations. Their phone number is 813-626-3161

I am fairly new at this so I was hoping to get a few questions answered.

My Taylor family appears to have quite a few family members and extended family members buried at Myrtle Hill Park Memorial Cemetary; some, if not all, in Section 3.

I was wondering if there is any kind of map of the cemetary that has a list of where people are buried in a certain section.

I didnt find any information on locating relatives on what I believe is their website.

I was also wondering if there are any photos of section 3 around so that I could see what it looks like in the area.

My next question is will the cemetery have records of death certificates or is that information found somewhere else?

I have a medium case of social anxiety and the idea of calling them up and bumbling around with my words and sounding like an idiot is not appealing, so any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I'm not finding a George Porter born 1918 that died Aug of 1974. I am finding Emery "G" Porter, born Jan 24 1918 date of death Aug 1974, Social Security card was issued in Pennsylvania..

No military info either. May I suggest that you contact Sunset Memory Gardens and inquire about your grandfather. Headstone or not, they will have his burial information.

Sunset Memory Gardens
11005 N US Highway 301
Thonotosassa, FL 33592
(813) 986-2402

Sorry, I had another thought. I drove thru NPR this morning, and I remembered that Elfers & Seven Springs also border NPR on the south side (along with Trinity, but as I said that area is pricey).

There is a large cemetary in the Trinity area, but that looks costly. Could he be in Bushnell? I don't know any names of cemetaries, but it sounds like you've hit everything hard. There's 2 on Hudson Ave. Several of the local funeral homes have gone out of business, so I imagine that has hampered your search, too. :-S

Thank you for your offer. I called all of the mortuaries and cemeteries in NPR and they all said there was no grave for him there. Unfortunately I have nothing else to go on. He lived in NPR and died there. The plot was likely purchased by his ex wife so she would be the plot owner, not him. His name was Stephen (or Steven) Komisary and her name was Sarah Vosel. I wish I had more information, but I don't. Sarah's cousin once told me the cemetery name but I have not been able to reach him to get the name again. So thinking he was cremated and ashes scattered is not likely. Thank you again and I will keep trying to narrow this down. Traci

Traci, New Port Richey is the size of a postage stamp, and I don't recall seeing many cemetaries around. Have you tried Port Richey (NPR is an off-shoot) or Hudson? Holiday is another option. If you can narrow it down, I can run out for you. We've lived in Hudson since '92.

Can anyone tell me if there are records for Childrens Home Cemetery? I am told some of my family is there and I don't see but only 2 Busbee's on the list? I know there are alot of unmarked graves there and that's why I'm asking. Also I've seen a couple of pictures of the Cemetery but they don't show too much. Is a church there and if so how old is church?

He is probably buried with his parents and his brother. Even though his marker does not have the death date on it, doesn't mean he is not there.. Contact the funeral home.

KOMISARY, Steve, of Newport Richey, FLa., formerly of Carnegie, died June 24.

I am searching for the grave of Steve (or Steven) Komisary. He died and was presumably buried in New Port Richey, Florida. I have already tried to contact the cemeteries and they can find no record. He would NOT have been the plot owner. The plot owner would have been Sara Frances Vosel (also known as Sara Frances Komisary.) If anyone can locate the grave and take a photograph of it for me, I would greatly appreciate it.
