I am so sorry. I posted directly back to Judy Curbow who is also researching Joseph Curbow. I did go by the church some time back. Went over every tombstone, even found some of my own family tree I had not kept records of. But no Curbow. I spoke to a couple of men that were tending the grounds as this was a Saturday. They stated that a member of the church had requested the old records so he could sort them and prepare a book. He however died and his son asked if he could keep them and complete what his father had started. No one has heard from him for many years. I was also at the Barrow County library in Winder and found an old transcribed census for 1820 in book form. It listed a Henry(?) Curbow for Gwinnett County. (I can't find my actual research paper - was just there 2 weeks ago.) May have to go back to verify the Henry (know it started with an H) But when I saw "Curbow" I thought of Judy and her research.
