Adam Covey was my grandfather. My mother is Gladys Covey and my grandmother was Bessie Lee Fletcher Covey. All from Estill Co. Irvine, Kentucky. His murder was never solved. We would really like any information, no matter how unimportant you may think it is. We would like to have closure . The not knowing prevents this from happenning. Every thought of my Daddy Covey is always: Why was he taken from his home and shot between the eyes? He was missing for 10 days before a man looking for his cows found him lying near his pond.
