Where is or was Faith Cemetery in Detroit,Wayne County, Michigan. My g-aunt, Alice HUNTER's death certificate from Chicago, Illinois states she is buried in Faith Cemetery Detroit and White Chaple in Troy, Oakland County,Michigan has a tombstone with her death date 25 July 1940. One staff person at white chapel said she is buried there and another staff person said that she is not buried there. I cannot find a Transit Permit for when her body was sent to Detroit,MIchigan from Chicago. Ed Wilke was the Undertaker on Death Certificate in Detroit, MI.
What can I do to find where she is buried, get a copy of Transit permit.Where would the transit Permit be, in Chicago?,how about Detroit having a Trnsit Permit to Troy?
