Then you are related to my family because your ggrandfather is the same person as mine. I live in St. Louis, MO. I have two children (and a husband, of course). My grandfather, from Detroit, was Henry M. Martens - son of Phillip. They both are written up in the Detroit historical library as well known citizens. I have also been to see other Daeschlein's in Frankenmuth Michigan. I believe the cemetery in Amelith has many of our relatives burial sites.
