I am trying to find a death record or date for Edward Root Hillis born 1851 in Seneca Co., Ohio and died probably after JAN 1909 but before 1910 since I cannot find him in the 1910 census. He was working in Hettinger. He lived in Valley City, Barnes Co., ND in the 1900 census. He last visited Ohio in JAN 1909
and his sister wrote down his present address was Gillstrap, SD but would be moving to Edmonton, Canada. As far as I know he never made it to Canada.
And I think Gillstrap, SD is Gillstrap, ND?
