Do these families that you mention have early roots in the Tekamah area? I was born and raised in Arizona Twp, about 6 miles north and still have quite a few family living in the area and in Tekamah itself. My great grandfather Hiram Lydick and his brother, Jonathan, were among the very early settlers there.
