I've been searching for the graves of my 3rd great-grandparents for at least 7 years now, with no luck. I've asked the lady that takes photos of headstones in St. Lawrence Co., NY and she has no record of their headstone photos in her files. Their lived in Madrid, St. Lawrence Co., NY. Thomas died 6 July 1871 and I can't find a date of death for Susanna, but I'm not able to find her in the 1890 census. My cusin and I beliee they may have been buried in the Doran Cemetery in St. Lawrence Co., NY. All I want is proof of this, but the stones maybe unreadable. I've been told that the county may not of kept records of burials then,how can I obtain the proof I need?
