Ok, not sure if this is the Wiley Watkins you are looking for but found a death certificate for one in Shelby county, TN. Shows he died on Aug. 21, 1925 and was born in MS. Not a lot of information on the certificate because he was a non-resident of the county. but it does show where he is buried and the informant on the record is also a Watkins. Hope this helps you .
