While walking in the woods near Greenwood, Texas, Wise Co.
I came across a few rocks with carvings of grave markers.
One had a circle with several letters with the following:
"In Rememberance of Nancy A. Baley wife of Daniel ?. Baley was born Dec. 24 AD (Possible) 1811 or 1815 Deceased March 16 AD 1856 or 66" There are a few small markers around it but this one was a slab. Anyone with information on who these people might be,or if this is a noted cemetery, please let me know, I have tried to find anything but have fallen short and would like just to know where they came from.
