Hi, I looked in "Grant District Cemeteries" by Carolyn Thomas Milhlbach and on page 31, they have your William Staats listed. It also has his wife Rosa Ann.
On pg 30, She says that the Staats Cemetery is located on Skull Run Road behind a run down house.
