Ida Scruggs/Mair was my g-grandmother and her death certificate says she was buried 8/26/1955 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. She was living in Coolville, Ohio, at the family farm. But her death was at St. Joseph in Parkersburg. The family knew her as Granny Scruggs all the way until death. But there was talk that she briefly married late in life to a Mair. I have found no info on this man named Mair. Her death certificate confirms this last name. On her obit she is listed as Ida Scruggs Mayr, in the margin is written Mair. I haven't found an obit for her.

The others I listed also lived at the family farm in Coolville, Ohio. The family story is that they purchased a plot from Ida's son and are all buried together in Mt. Olivet. They are all related to Ida's daughter-in-law, who was a Neighbors. I can't be sure if it's the same Mt. Olivet Cemetery. But based on location, it's a good guess.

All my online searches haven't found them. I don't know why that would be since there are grave pictures on Findagrave for Mt. Olivet. Could it be that they never bought grave stones? Or that their graves have deteriorated and can't be seen?

Best of luck! Can't wait to hear back from you!
