Mary Ann Sexton lookup

Surnames: Stinson, Sexton
need a lookup for Mary Ann Sexton, it would seem as if when she married my great great grandfather she appeared out of thin air. She was born circa 1851, possibly in Canada. She married my g-g grandfather in 1864 in St. John(city) New Brunswick, have found their marriage announcement in the archive in New Brunswick, but can't find her prior to that. She married John Knight Stinson of St. Andrews, New Brunswick. Thanks,
