I can't find a whole geographical area in the 1911 census of the NWT. Can you help?
I've seen several references to the 1911 census of the residents (mostly Inuit) living between Rankin Inlet, Wager Inlet, and Baker Lake, in what was then NWT (now Nunavut) along the west coast of Hudson Bay. The enumerator was Charles N. C. Hayter, an RNWMP officer stationed at Fullerton.
What became of this census? I can't find it online. I see the nearby subdistrict covered by A. F. Borden ("Egg Island"), whom I read personally took the returns in from Hayter, and I see a reference to all three returns from the area being submitted, but no census.
What happened to the returns from this area? Are there parts of the 1911 NWT census that were destroyed or not microfilmed?
