Can someone find for me the family-group of Andreas and
Katharina (HERMANN) SCHWACHHOFFER and son Peter Anton
SCHWACHHOFFER ? The son was baptized at Mainz 16 September, 1784 .

The father, Andreas, and his brother Josef were court musicians at the Mainz Chapel 1783 - 1784 . There were evidently four brothers SCHWACHHOFFER in service to the Prince-Elector of the city of Mainz.

Is it known whether anyone from this SCHWACHHOFFER family emigrated from Germany to America betweenh 1780 and 1820 ?

The spelling of the family name varies greatly : it can be
SCHWACOFER ; SCHWACHHOFER ; SCHEIGHOFER ; SCHWEIGHOFFER ;
even SCHWACKHOFER : SCHWACKOFFER .
