interesting we are distant relatives then (I am the 11th generation from Judge James Lowrey) here is what I have found for my line going back to Judge James Lowrey (actually to his father John Lowrey):
My father James C Sanderson (1942-2006) who married Patricia Zaifert (1942-present) they had three children, myself and two sisters, my father also had four other children, so I have two more sisters and two brothers.
James C Sandersons father was also James C Sanderson (1920-1977) and he married Mary Lowery (1922-present) my father was their only child
Mary Lowerys father was Meryer Woodell (no dates) who married Mary Margaret Lowery (1900-1990) my grandmother was their only child
Mary Margaret Lowerys father was Henry Thomas Lowery (1875-1952) who married Rosella Godwin (1879-1957) they had 14 children that I know of
Henry Thomas Lowerys father was Evander Lowery (1835-1913) who married Margaret Woodle (1844-1916) they had 6 children that I know of
Evander Lowerys father was Zion Simeon Lowery (1812-1880) and he married Sophronia Locklear (1817-1915) they had nine children that I know of
Zion Simeons father was Daniel Lowery (1782-1864) who married Elizabeth Locklear (1789-1869) they had 12 children that I know of
Daniel Lowerys father was James Lowery(1753-1831) and he married Sarah Locklear (1749-1780) they had 7 children that I know of
James Lowerys father was also James Lowery (1735-1810) who married Sarah Kearsey (1731-1810) they had 5 children that I know of
James Lowerys father was James Lowrey (1713-1752) who married Pricilla Berry (1714-1760) they had 2 children that I know of
James Lowreys Father was also James Lowrey, he was Married to Pricilla Barnes
his father was "Judge" James Lowrey who married Joan (i have no maiden name) my records show he was born in 1660 in Roseland, Cornwall England.
"Judge" James Lowery father was John Lowery who was married to Francis Sarah (i have no maiden name) I believe John Lowery was from London but I am not 100% sure
Thats as far back as I have been able to trace the Lowerys (or Lowreys, I am not sure when the different spellings of the name Lowrey came about, from my research I have found where brothers had spelled it differently and it seems to have started in the late 1700's. My great grandmother spelled it Lowery, not the way Judge James spelled it Lowrey, and other spelling I have seen are Lowrie, and Lowry)
