KILLING AT MAUD

City Marshal Killed Section Man With a Knife

Special to The Oklahoman.

Maud, Okla., Dec.21 -

City Marshal T.A. Duncer today killed David Johnson, a
colored section employe, with a bowie knife, while the
latter was holding the marshal's gun, in attempting to
resist arrest. A coroner's jury exonerated the officer
from all blame in connection with the killing. It is
said, however, that the matter will be carried to the
grand jury.
