Came across your note on reading this board for the first time. The John Hogan you mention couldn`t possibly be John HORGAN could he? My GrGr Grandfather was John HORGAN who was in the RIC from 1865- 1889 and then pensioned off. I have been searching for more about him for over 5 years now. I know his wifes name, Margaret Coveney, and all their descendents but can`t find where he was born or when or where he died. His RIC record says he was native to Limerick.
