if you check out other message boards about ancestry test you will see simliar issues raised. given the complexity of the actual dna we each inherit i understand it is a cfrap shoot what we get. my circumstances are much like yours only with respect to italian (documented 500 years worth) and irish (all prior to 1800 or so), none of which show up at all. the odds against none of a documented ethnicity showing up are really remote. it seems there are too manny statistical outliers raising similar concerns. i decided to take the family tree test as a comparison. it will be interesting to compare their results with ancestrys.
