I know your posting is old...but I thought I would comment. I am on paper 25% Norwegian...Ancestry took that away and gave me back only 6% Norwegian and then gave me 26% Eastern European dna this was out of the blue...My family has no Eastern European ancestry on paper. I didn't get any Finnish Volga which would have made much more sense and understandable. Ancestry tells me the Eastern European is probably thousands of year ago. I am thinking it is farther back then even Finnish Volga....My Norwegian ancestry can be traced back with Church books nearly 1,000 years.
