Really, I don't know what your problem is with me. And my name isn't "Hon" as you well know. I have not treated you with anything but respect, and ask that you do the same for me.

I think somebody further up this topic mentioned how to import a tree for dna purposes. Since you are an experienced genealogist, I assume you use a desk top genealogy program, but there are free ones out there in which you can import your ancestry tree to the program, and then re-import the tree as a new tree here at Ancestry and with a different name than your private tree. When you import it, none of your photos or documents will import with it, but all of your names, dates and locales will import with it. Voila! You will have a 'barebones tree' that you can attach your dna account to and make public to your matches. It should not take more than a few minutes. This is a good way to share your tree, but without making available docs and photos. Ancestry gives simple instructions on how to import a tree. It is very easy and quick.

Best regards,
Marthe
