Just read your post while looking up something similar. My wife is Puerto Rican - 100%. Her ancestry shook out (according to the DNA) as: 24% African, 14% Native American, 20% European, and (STRANGELY) 24% Scandinavian! The only feasible explanation I have found on any dna site is the trades between slaves during the Dutch colonization period of the Caribbean but even that seems pretty lame. Our 13 y/o son wants to "spit in the tube" in the worst way, so we're going to use him as our "control" and see what comes up.
