Cyndi308 - That's what I thought also re phasing, but it is talked about in several places (see interview with an ancestry.com executive on cece's blog). I also wondered how you could do it without as you indicate (one parent's dna) but it keeps coming up as a "difference" in ancestry.com's dna analysis...will see if I can learn more.
