"I don't have any leaf hints in my DNA results pages."
I have about 6,000 matches last time I checked, and I have about a dozen or so green leaf matches.
My suggestion would be to look at the closest matches and see if you can find clues to a possible match. Depending on the size of the other tree, you may find many trees are too small to have any good matches. Generally, less than a 1,000 or so may be too small for good matches, though I have found a few good ones with really small trees when they had the "right" ancestors.
Matches must have DNA matches to yours AND have their tree filled in with exactly the same dates that you have in order to get a green leaf. Also, sometimes, there is a common ancestor identified after clicking on the match, but no green leaf showing.
