David - thank you. Maybe I am making some progress - I am using ISOGG DNA Tree and SNP Index. Some rs#s match data I have from ancestry autosomal testing, as follows:

R - I have no data for M207 at rs2032685
R1 - M173 - rs2032624 m=A>C I find C-C A HIT???
R1b - I have no data for M343
R1b1 - M415 - rs9786194 m=C>A I find A-A A HIT???
R1b1a, R1b1a2, R1b1a2a1 -no data
R1b1a2a2 - M405 - rs16981293 m=C>T I find T-T A HIT???
Have I found my haplogroup?
Am I OK for the missing data at R if I get a hit on R1?
Am I OK for the missing data at R1b if I get a hit on R1b1?
Same question next two hits - is everything OK above the hit?
Thank you a bunch for any response. Anyone. Everyone.
Vance
