David - If I may break in, please - I have been reading data and sources for over a week - the grass is getting deep and I need to shave.
Should I first try to determine the Major Group - I,R,G D,F - whatever and then proceed to sub-groups? Or can I just jump to a marker under a subgroup and assume that a match means everything above is OK?
Next - ancestry autosomal results seldon hit the RSID exactly - they are sometimes close and sometimes not. Can I assume that something indicated there was no reason to report that rsid information? Or is this just random and has no intent of being useful in haplogroup prediction?
Thank you,
Vance Wiley
