Comparing Ancestry to Geno 2.0 (scandinavian thing)

We had a weird (and oft reported) Scandinavian component on my wife's report so decided to dig deeper using NatGeo's Geno 2.0 project. Here's the comparison:

Ancestry -

Scandinavian - 22%
Southern European - 20%
West African - 18%
East Europe - 12%
Native South Amer - 7%
Native North Amer - 7%
North African - 6%
Uncertain - 8%

The NatGeo results were:
Mediterranean - 32%
Northern Europe - 21%
Sub-Saharan African - 17%
Native American - 15%
Southwest Asia - 11%

At the end of the day, the results are really about the same. It just seems that Ancestry "lumps" some Europeans together and calls them "Scandinavian". They apparently don't realize that to us Americans - Scandinavian conjures up the image of tall, light haired, blue eyed, white people. I assume they are talking about a more esoteric version of the definition.
