Thanks everyone. Problem is that my birth mom will not be tested. Although she claims that she can't remember my father's name I am certain that she does. She has never been willing to share much information about him with me. All the she would say on the matter was that she "thinks" his name was John and she met him at a dance. The only other information I have came from the attorneys who handled the adoption which said that he had blond hair and blue eyes. However, I tracked down a man who matched all of this information and even confirmed being with my mother at that dance and when we did a paternity test it came back as 99.9% NOT my father. But, thank you all for your replies.
