What's the harm in filtering out no/private tree matches? It's a simple request and would make scrolling through the match list easier. It's not like the OP is asking to delete them forever, just hide them from view w/ the push of a button (and if you are filtering out no/private trees, it would stand to reason that when a tree was attached or made public, those matches would no longer be caught by the filter). It's a much more reasonable solution than the little trash can, which requires opening each match individually prior to trashing - a multi-click process per match. A single -click would be much more efficient use of time.
