Surnames: Henrichsen Hinrichsen Henricksen
One of my ancestors is names Hans Ingwar Hinrichsen however on the US census it states that his middle name is Iner. I have some stories written by another relative and she states his middle name as Iner but another relative states that it is Ingwar. I have been trying to find out how Ingwar would be pronounced. I was wondering if when it is spoken it would sound like "Iner" and that would be the reason it shows up like that on the census.
I am hoping that someone who speaks german would know.
