Does anyone have any information as to why the Boudreau's up north in Nova Scotia & Canada do not have an "X", while the Cajun BOUDREAUX'S do? How would I go about trying to get a copy of the original ship manafest for the Le Bon Papa and La Amitie when they arrived in New Orleans?

I am also trying to establish the date and place of passing of Pelagie BARRILLOT/BARIAUX/BARRILLEAUX/BARIAU born abt 1743/1746 in Pisiguit, Acadia/Nova Scotia and married to Marin BOUDROT (b.abt 1732 in Grand Pre, Acadia/Nova Scotia) 7 May 1765 in Pleudihen, Cote du Nord, France. I have Marin passing 8 Oct 1786, I do not know where, perhaps another researcher does, and I do not know the date and place of Pelagie's passing. Did she die in France or Louisiana, USA?
