Surnames: ROY KING, BOURGOIN, FOURNIER
Has any on done extensive research on this family and their children?
I am specifically looking for more information on the son Hermengilde, born 1845 in t Leonard, Madawaska, New Brunswick, Canada and as listed in the Canadian 1851 Census as illegitimate. The family ended up in St Bruno, Van Buren, Aroostook County, Maine, then to Hennepin County, Minnesota, then to Dunseith/Bottineau North Dakota. Hermengolde married SOPHIE BOURGOIN, daughter of JEAN BAPTISTE BOURGOIN and SOPHIE FOURNIER.

Hermanegilde Roy is my 2nd great-frandfather and I lost him after he left North Dakota. He may have changed his name to Archie King.
Thank you, Lynne
