I am looking for some hep regarding the family line of Remi Leblanc and Mary Elena (Melina) Beranger. I am not overly familiar with researching Acadian records as my own family is from NEwfoundland. However, my step mothers mother, who is now 90 years old, told me that she had micmac in her family tree. She doesn't remember a whole lot of detail but I would like to help her find out if this is true. She moved to NL when she was 19.
Her parents were
Freeman Walter Monk and Evangeline M Leblanc.

Evangeline's parents were Remi Leblanc and Melina Beranger.
