I have an ancestor that came from Ille de Re,Aunis,St.Martin,Maritime,Charane.

His name was Michel Mignier, Or Migne..about 1600 in France to his marriage to Catherine Masson and and their son ..Andre Mignier,dit Lagace, was born in 1640 in Ille de Re 'Ars, France and he was baptised on April 11, 1651 in La Chapelle du Bois (Charentye-Maritime) 1 er generation in Canada.
He died on May 21, 1717 and is buried in St. Anne de La Pocatiere,Quebeec. He was a occupation; soldat defricheur fermier,

This is as far as I could get on my genealogy of my great Ancestor Michel Migner and Catherine Masson my grgrgrgrgrgrggrgrgr grandparents from France and would like to know more and have information...on them and their son Andre..and would like to be included in this list ..you are making regarding our heritage and connections. World wide. I have all my descending genealogy on my line as my Mignier name chaged to Lagace changed again to Meunier. From France to Quebec, to Det,Michigan. I live in Lapeer, Michigan, USA.
