YOUNGSTOWN – Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church, for Mrs. Luberta Oliver Bradley, 81, who departed this life on Oct. 5, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Mrs. Bradley was born May 6, 1931, in Evergreen, Alabama, a daughter of Ed and Flora Belle Franklin Oliver.

A devoted homemaker, Luberta was a member of the Greater Friendship Baptist Church, its Mother’s Ministry, where she served as chaplain, Sunday School and Usher Ministry. She attended the McGuffey Center Bible Study Class and enjoyed bowling, reading and TV game shows..

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Daniel (Hilda) Bradley Jr. and Donald (Tonjia) Bradley, both of Youngstown and Gregory (Letan) Bradley of Columbus; a daughter, Andrea Moore of Youngstown; two sisters, Lillian Wheeler, with whom she made her home and Jacqueline Holder of Evergreen; grandchildren Dr. Chadwyck Bradley of Albuquerque, N.M., Christopher, Cedric and Rochelle Bradley, all of Columbus, Daryl Bradley of Atlanta, Ashley Bradley of Toledo, Tre’, Raven and Cody Bradley, Rayonna and Bernard Moore III, all of Youngstown; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sr., whom she married April 9, 1951, and who passed away in 1988; five brothers, Edward Sr., Elbert, Eugene, Robert and Rocellous Oliver; and a granddaughter, Angel Bradley.

Friends may call on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.
