looking for african american ancesters in Arkansas

Surnames: Dunbar, Gardner
I am looking for any information on the Dunbar Family (African Americans) who were slaves in Arkansas. The earliest that I have are my Great Grandfather & Grandmother William Dunbar who was married to Mary Gardner.
