Sometime between 1900 and 1917. My great grandfather travelled to Boston MA, from the UK on 2 occasions for medical treatment for something called neurasthenia. On both occasions the family went with him for months on end.

I am trying to find out where he got his treatment and what type of treatment he might have had. I understand at around that time that electric shock treatments were found to be best. Im interested to know if anyone can shed any light on this.
