BRAZIEL Tommy L. Braziel, age 85, born November 13, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan, left this life on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
After serving in the Armed Forces during WWII, he successfully landed a career at DCSC as a chauffeur for the general and admiral retiring in 1984.
Tommy was an avid bowler and actively into horse and dog races.
He was known for his generosity and sense of humor to family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Martha Willis and Tom Henry Braziel, brother John Henry Braziel and wife Geraldine Braziel.
Left to cherish his memories are nieces, nephews and friends, Takashi, Erica, Chauncey, Candace, Yon and Gwen Coleman, Taeko and Shannon Knight, Theresa Stone, John Allen Brazil, Terri Elliot, Rheiyonna, Dexter, Kylan, Rhytion, Aysiah, TyYonna, Jahmere, Yonna, Keyara, Zyrek, Aniya, Sataeya, Donye, Samaria, Amielle, Takayah, Shannon, Kaori, Takara, and Yon II.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012, Chapel of the WAYNE T. LEE FUNERAL SERVICE, 1370 E. Main St., Columbus, OH 43205,. Viewing will begin at 11 a.m., followed by the service at 12Noon. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
