WARREN, OH - Leola Brown, 89, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.

She was born Jun. 7, 1923, in Clyde, Mississippi, the daughter of James and Mattie Ward Hodge.

She was a homemaker and member of New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in Cleveland, Ohio.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Wayne Brown of Warren, OH and Charles Edward Brown Sr. of Cleveland; two daughters, Barbara J. Brown of Warren and Diane Brown of Euclid, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Brown; two sons, James and Lawrence Brown; one brother; and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Shepherd of the Valley, 4100 N. River Road N.E., Warren, OH.

Arrangements were handled by Sibley-Murray-Ferebee Funeral Home.
