I am looking for information about my mother's family. She was born in 1928 in Atlantic City NJ. Her mother died shortly thereafter and I am told her mothers name was Gertrude Cornelius and that there were 9 siblings in Gertrude's family. My mothers name at birth was Valentino and we have been told that her father was an Italian immigrant from New York but thats all we know. At age three my mother was taken in and later adopted by Carrie and Edward Esters. Any information would be very helpful.
