Mr. Frances L. Royall fom Greensvile, Co., Virginia had in his service about 37 people based on the slave schedule found for the 1830s. Without information on names and/ or marriages there is now way to tell their (the enslaved) relation to eachother.

I can knowledgably assume that with selling, wills, deeds, and emancipation these people took on the surnames of the owners. I'm confident that my GGGGrand father's (Nobel or Noel Royal) parents were among those that stayed near to the Frances L. Royal family even after emancipation.
