You need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.
Bartachek would be BARTAC^EK and Yaroshek a JAROS^EK or JAROUS^EK in Czech. The English Y makes the Czech J sound. Take a look in Ellis Island website. You need to register but no money. www.ellisislandrecords.org
