We now have 3 haplogroups and 1 unique haplotype.

The main group is the Western Atlantic which is our main
Scotiish group.

Next we have a family that has Viking origins.

The third group is Scandinavian

and the unique haplotype comes from the Mediterranean.

We have had several unexpected matches that have helped
researchers to focus their research.

This project is open to all males with the surname BOYD
because only men carry the Y-DNA.
