When I visited Scotland this year from Australia I was on the hunt for a Boyd tartan sash. I finally managed to order it from a Kiltmakers shop in Oban. There was a traditional tartan and a modern tartan. My Boyds came mostly from Stevenston, Ayrshire, Peebles and possibly Ireland (as a soldier stationed there)
