I tried to e-mail you privately earlier today, but the address bounced. Doug confirms that you can join the project by e-mailing him. Do you already have some results at this time?
I can help you get your results together to e-mail to Doug.
It is recommended that you go to www.ysearch.org
once you have results and add them to the ysearch database. Since different organizations use different markers and sometimes report results differently, this can be tricky, but I can help with it. It is ideal if you create a ysearch entry when your results are first extracted from the database. Then you can share your ysearch ID with Doug and he can put it straight into the project tables when he enters your allele values.
Ysearch allows men with results from different testing organizations to compare test results and get in touch with each other. First contacts are made through forwarded e-mails to protect your e-mail address. It isn't necessary to fill in every blank in your ysearch entry, but it's probably best to do so.
Doug would also like to get some information on your line. It's especially handy to have some information on your earliest known MacDonald ancestor.
