I am pretty sure that my grandfather John William "Jack" Galloway moved to WA state (Rochester, WA) in the 60s... His grandfather's name was Leonard "Professor" Galloway. I know that the descendants of Leonard are scattered EVERYWHERE in the West (& even in Texas). I was very curious to hear that there was another John William Galloway! There are MANY John Williams in the Galloway branch of my family tree. Very popular name. Leonard Galloway was born and raised in Bury (Manchester), Lancashire, England around 1875. Then immigrated to Massachusetts, then to LA after his father died in an explosion in 1909. So when did your Galloway ancestors immigrate to the USA?
