I have been chasing my family now for about 18months. I have traced back to George Innes (b:17??) + Mary Bruce (b:abt 1775 St Cuthberts, Edinburgh. m: 03 Mar 1792 at Buccburgh Place (if I have read the writing correctly), St. Cuthberts. I have used Scotlandspeople.gov and Ancestry.com but am unable to find exactly when and where George was born or who his parents were. I am having the same problem with Mary Bruce.

Can anybody point me in the right direction or give me some information. It would be well appreciated.

Can anybody fill me in on the Clan Society and what it does and where it exists.
